At ACCESS Care at Home, supporting families impacted by Alzheimer’s is personal to us. We have walked in honor of those living with dementia in 2018, 2019, and 2024. On October 4, 2025, we are proud to walk again.

Every day, we see the effect Alzheimer’s has on the families we care for. Joining the walk is our way of standing beside them, honoring their journeys, and supporting efforts to create a better future.

Why We Walk

Alzheimer’s affects millions of families across the country.
• More than 7 million Americans live with Alzheimer’s
• One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia
• Caregivers provide over 12 million hours of unpaid care every year
• Alzheimer’s causes more deaths than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined, and there is no cure
• By 2025, the cost of Alzheimer’s in the United States is expected to reach 384 billion dollars

Walking helps raise awareness, offers support to families, and funds research that saves lives.

Where Your Support Goes

Every dollar raised helps by:
• Providing care and support programs for families
• Funding research for treatments and prevention
• Supporting public policy work to improve care systems
• Keeping the 24-hour helpline and community programs running
