You might not always see Judy Peite front and center, but her impact is felt across every part of ACCESS Care at Home. Since 2017, she’s been our Compliance Officer and Billing Clerk. She is always helping ensure things run smoothly, all while offering kindness, reliability, and a deep appreciation for the stories of the seniors we serve.
When asked what she enjoys most about working with the elderly, Judy keeps it simple: “Easing their load, even if it’s just a little bit.” That quiet compassion shows up in her work every day.
Some of her favorite caregiving memories come from listening to clients share about their lives. “You can learn so much from them if you truly listen,” she says. It’s a reminder that meaningful care doesn’t always look like doing—it often looks like being present.
Friends and family describe Judy as hardworking, caring (and lovable), and reliable. She’s someone who shows up, follows through, and brings her heart to even the smallest task.
Outside of work, Judy spends her free time with her kids, granddaughter, and extended family. She has two cats at home and enjoys winding down with jigsaw puzzles and Sudoku. When it comes to comfort food, she keeps it classic: pizza and tacos.
Something people might not know? Judy had her last child at age 40 while going to college. It’s just one example of the perseverance and strength she carries with her, even if she doesn’t always talk about it.
The quotes that inspire her most reflect that same quiet wisdom:
“Life’s under no obligation to give us what we expect.” — Margaret Mitchell
“Life isn’t a matter of milestones, but of memories.” — Rose Kennedy
We’re grateful for Judy’s years of dedication, as well as for the care, steadiness, and heart she brings to our team.
